Torrent Etiquette to remember on your Torrent Experience from your fellow Torrent Community:
1. If you finished downloading a file, give the love back by continuing to seed the file at least a ratio of 1.0 or more (preferred by the community). Having a ratio of 1.0 is saying "I'm giving what I downloaded back to the community".
2. If there is a need for seeding on that file you finished downloading, (ex. Seeders to Leechers ratio is 2 to 30) stay seeding for a while. You'll never know that you might get the wrong end of the stick. Ideal time could be when your using the PC/Laptop but not using the net. I let mine stay on seeding at night where there's less bandwidth traffic.
